How long have you been in business?
MTH Landscaping has been a Michigan landscaping contractor since 2018. We started with a few employees doing small residential projects and grew from there. See About us.
Do you have your own equipment?
Yes: CAT and John Deere excavators, track loaders, zero-turn mowers, dump trucks and trailers. You can see them in the videos on our home page.

Landscape installation
What does landscape installation include?
From start to finish, our experienced team will handle everything from stone work, tree and shrub installations, lawn seeding and sod installation: design and build, landscape removal and renovation, boulder walls, mulch and stone.
Do you redo existing landscapes?
Yes. Landscape removal and renovation is part of our residential landscape installation service, for those looking to completely revamp their yard.
Can you design my landscape before you build it?
Yes. Our 3D virtual design service creates a realistic 3D rendering of your project, so you can see what the finished product will look like around your home and make changes before we start. See 3D landscape design.
Do you install sod?
Yes: lawn seeding and sod installation, for homes and businesses.
Do you build water features?

Do you build boulder walls?

Commercial landscaping
What commercial landscaping do you do?
Retaining walls, pavers and boulder walls, tree and shrub planting, mulching, stone installation, lawn seeding and sod, and the mowing and maintenance afterwards.
What commercial jobs have you done?

Do you maintain commercial properties?
Yes. Our crews mow commercial grounds on zero-turn mowers and keep the beds, trees and shrubs trimmed and mulched.
Can you do the site work and grading too?
Yes. We run our own excavators, loaders and dump trucks, so the grading, the material and the planting come from one company. See trucking, excavating and grading.
Do you plant trees on commercial sites?
Yes. Our reels show commercial sites planted with rows of spruces and shrubs, set with our loader and auger.

Patios & retaining walls
Do you build paver patios?
Yes: paver patios and walkways, with fire pits and pergolas if you want them. See them on Our Work.
Do you build retaining walls?
Yes: block retaining walls and boulder walls, for homes and businesses, and boulder steps on sloped and lakefront lots.
Do you build fire pits?
Yes. Our photos include round paver fire-pit patios, fire pits ringed with boulder seating and fire pits with stone slab benches.
Do you build pergolas?
Yes. Our photos include cedar pergolas on stone pillars over paver patios.
How is a paver patio built?
The ground is excavated, graded and checked with a laser level; gravel goes in and is compacted, then screeded flat; then the pavers are laid, cut to the curve and edged. You can watch a walkway go in on our home page.
Do you seal brick pavers?
Yes. Brick paver sealing is part of our landscape maintenance.

Tree & shrub planting
Do you plant trees and shrubs?
Yes. Tree and shrub planting is part of every residential and commercial installation we do.
Can you plant a lot of trees at once?
Yes. Our reels show whole rows of spruces set along a property, the holes dug with an auger and each tree carried in on a loader. You can watch one on our home page.
How do you plant big trees?
The hole is dug with an auger, the tree is carried in on a loader with its root ball wrapped and set in the hole, and the new tree is watered in.
What kinds of trees do you plant?
Our reels show spruces and other evergreens, and shrubs in new planting beds. Ask about the trees you have in mind when you call (810) 404-7607.
Do you water new trees in?
Yes. New plantings are watered in; one of our reels shows the sprinkler running along a new row.
Do you trim trees and shrubs?
Yes. Tree and shrub trimming is part of our landscape maintenance.
Do you mulch around new plantings?
Yes. Mulching is part of our installations and our maintenance.
